Opening times

1 April to 30 September
10am - 6.30pm

1 October to 31 March
10am - 6pm

Please note: last access to the monument 45 minutes before closing time.

Annual closures:

  • The first working Monday of each month (opening at 12 noon)
  • 1 January 
  • 1 May 
  • 25 December
     

Exceptional closures and special opening times

  • 26 June (closes at 2.45pm - last entry 2pm)
  • 24 December (closes at 5pm - last entry 4.15pm)
  • 31 December (closes at 5pm - last entry 4.15pm)

The ticket gives you access to the nave and crypt of the monument.

Free admission (without cashier)

  • Under 16s accompanied by an adult with an e-ticket

  • 16-25 years (European Union nationals and regular non-European residents in France)
  • Education pass for French teachers (on presentation of a valid pass) 
  • Jobseeker (on presentation of a certificate less than 6 months old)

Services and visiting conditions

  • The monument does not have a luggage locker or cloakroom. Only standard backpacks are accepted.
  • Helmets are not permitted.
  • There is an outside ramp for disabled access and an inside lift giving access to the entire nave.
  • Pushchairs permitted.
  • Scooters, rollerblades and skateboards are not permitted.
  • Food and drink prohibited.
  • Dogs are not permitted within the gates of the Panthéon, with the exception of guide dogs and assistance dogs.


Photographs, videos and filming:

  • Personal photographs authorised (non-commercial use only), tripods prohibited.
    Drones are prohibited.
  • Photographs for professional purposes (LinkedIn etc...), class photos, wedding photos... are prohibited inside the monument and authorisation is required for outside the Panthéon.
  • Filming by permission only.
